  • I would like to thank you for opening your home to me and for your genuine efforts in making the weeks stay with you the most enjoyable and very comfortable.  I felt right at home and had a great time.  Your accommodations are spacious, clean and very relaxing.  All of the meals were a culinary delight and the desserts were a touch of class.  Angella, I was not joking when I said you could easily compete with Rachel and Paula.  I really appreciated your personal touch in preparing the lunches as well.  A special thanks to Ken and Sharon for their friendship and their efforts to accommodate us.  It was a pleasure to share the warm and gracious family and the company of such a fine group of new friends.  By far, they were one of the nicest and most congenial group of fellows I have shared camp with in a long time.

  • Hello Wade & Angella.  I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that I think you all run a top notch outfit.  I have hunted with three other Canadian outfitters who apparently felt that they had to tell a lot of tall tales to book hunts.  You guys were honest in all your dealings with me, and that was a refreshing change for me.  Although I did not fire a shot, I did see upwards of twenty bucks during the week.  Since I have taken a few nice Saskatchewan bucks, I am at the point in my Saskatchewan experience that I am holding out for a real buck of a lifetime.  While I did not see him this year, I do believe that I have as good a chance with Lost Creek Outfitters as I would with any other fair chase operation.  Unfortunately, the warm weather, the full moon, and/or the two bad winters kept the big buck sightings down.  All of these things are beyond your control, and I think that you did everything you could to put me on a good buck.  I discovered back at the airport that I had a good week compared to most of the hunters I talked to or overheard.  It was pretty much a consensus that 2008 was a down year for the entire province.  As for the accommodations, the lodge was roomy and comfortable.  Angella, your culinary skills are superb.  The food was great and plentiful.  The whole atmosphere at the lodge was really great.  I felt at home away from home.  Although four of the six hunters in camp were repeat hunters, as a first time hunter with your outfit, I believe I was treated equally in every respect.  In fact, I doubt I will ever be in camp with a finer group of guys than Duff, Ed, Tom, Tommy, and Bob.  The hunting area was beautiful and accessible, and the stands I hunted were comfortable, well-situated, and well baited.  Wade did a fine job of organizing the hunt.  I particularly enjoyed having Ken as my guide.  Not withstanding his ability as a guide, he is a man of character and the kind of person that I would like to have as a friend.  His wife, Sharon, was also very nice and pleasant to be around.  Also, I enjoyed the trip to and from Saskatoon with Art as our driver.  I just cannot say enough about the people that make up your outfitting team.

  • I just wanted to let you all (Wade, Angella, Ken, Sharon, and Loren) know how much I enjoyed my hunt!  That's the first time I have ever gone on a guided whitetail trip and I am so ready to be back.  You all made me feel at home and were willing to do whatever needed to make it a wonderful trip.  Wade and Angella you are blessed to have parents who support you in your activities and who are willing to help in whatever capacity needed.  Angella tell your Dad I apologize for falling asleep on him but there was no way I could stay up for that drive back to Saskatoon.
